Ok I've been getting these phone calls from Charter but since it was an unfamilier number I decide to let my voicemail pick it up. I call voicemail to see if they left me a message and they didn't. So I call the number back to find out that it was a disconnected number. The same thing happened today. It really pisses me off when companies have to be so unproffesional and call with fake numbers and not leave any type of message with a valid callback number. That shit really gets annoying. Well that's all for now.

i think you've been hit by a computer dialer. maybe the legislation is diffrent where you are, but here in the UK, if a computer dialrer is used by a company, they need to provide a number for you to get back to them, and a message on the end of that number when you call back, explaining who they are.

I wish I lived in the UK!

Now I'm getting these sorts of calls on my cell phone during the day, using up time when I answer, assuming it will be someone I know calling! *grumble*

I've gotten those calls. I'm so glad I have caller ID!

Even though we got caller ID phones, and even though we're having screen reading softwares like mobile speak and talks, In India, the private providers are giving some facility to hide their number if needed. and this sort of thing is really annoying though. I do get many many ananemous calls, you see. but, I got a software called phone pylet for filtering such calls so I got rid of that now, you know.

I've never gotten any calls like that, but I get telemarketers on my cell phone sometimes, and I just hang up on them! And the majority of the time they're automated systems anyway, so you can't tell them to shut the fuck up!
